Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Card Fossil website (cardfossil.com) and your purchase of any products from us. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About us

Card Fossil is an Australian business selling acrylic display cases, stands, straps, and accessories for trading cards, graded card slabs, and booster packs. We are based in Queensland, Australia. All prices on our site are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order with Card Fossil.

Products, pricing, and availability

We try to keep product descriptions, images, and pricing accurate, but errors can occur. We reserve the right to correct pricing or descriptions and to cancel any order affected by an error, in which case we will provide a full refund. Prices are subject to change without notice, and products are subject to availability — some items, including limited edition designs, may sell out or be discontinued at any time.

Colours and finishes shown on-screen may vary slightly from the physical product due to display settings and manufacturing tolerances.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud, where an item is unexpectedly out of stock, or where there has been a pricing or listing error. If we cancel an order, you will be refunded in full.

Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering, using the payment methods available at checkout. You confirm that any payment details you provide are accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method.

Shipping and delivery

We ship within Australia and internationally, including to New Zealand. Estimated delivery times shown at checkout or on our site are estimates only and are not guaranteed — actual delivery may be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, or other factors outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you once the order is handed to the carrier; however, if your order arrives damaged or faulty, our Refund Policy applies.

For international orders, you are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by your country's customs authority, unless we have stated otherwise at checkout.

Refunds and returns

Refunds are only offered for items that are faulty or arrive damaged. We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind. Full details are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Intellectual property and trademarks

All content on this site — including text, product photography, logos, and the Card Fossil name and branding — is owned by Card Fossil or used with permission and may not be copied or reused without our consent.

Some of our product names and designs (for example, designs referencing popular trading card franchises, characters, or promotional releases) are used descriptively to indicate compatibility or fan-inspired styling only. Card Fossil is an independent business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, McDonald's, PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator), or any other trademark or brand owner referenced on this site. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use our site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems, or to reproduce, resell, or scrape content from our site without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Card Fossil is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or your purchase of our products. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will apply to orders placed after the updated Terms are posted on this site.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
